John DeBarros, M.D., is a partner and lead surgeon at the Weight Loss Institute of Arizona. He received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Conn., and is board certified in general surgery. Dr. DeBarros also completed the colorectal fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida. He is a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the Society of Colorectal Surgeons, American Society of Bariatric Surgeons, and American College of Surgeons.
